Why GoodKoz Network?
The nonprofit sector is filled with passionate, hardworking individuals dedicated to making a difference. Yet, too often, these organizations face hurdles like limited resources, high costs for learning opportunities, and a lack of collaborative spaces. The GoodKoz Network was created to change that.
We provide daily live-streamed sessions covering a variety of topics, all designed to fit into the busy schedules of nonprofit leaders. With multiple time slots each day, our platform ensures accessibility for members in every time zone. Our training sessions and resources are sourced from real-world experts and the collective wisdom of our growing community, making learning actionable and immediately impactful.

Inspired by the startup world, this principle underscores everything we do. At the GoodKoz Network, our trainers and presenters are handpicked for their willingness to “give away the kitchen sink.” They share their expertise without holding back, ensuring that our members can take what they learn on Friday, reflect over the weekend, and apply it confidently by Monday—without the need for additional purchases, programs, or tools (for the most part).
Our Story
The GoodKoz Network was born out of a simple yet striking realization by our founder, a seasoned social entrepreneur. After years of experiencing the supportive, collaborative startup ecosystem—where events, resources, and coworking spaces are often free or low-cost—it became clear that nonprofits deserved the same opportunities.
Why, he wondered, are resources readily available to for-profit startups, while nonprofits are left to struggle with expensive conferences and limited collaboration? The startup ecosystem thrives on its inclusivity, accessibility, and innovation, yet these qualities are often missing in the nonprofit sector.
Fueled by a desire to bring the best aspects of the startup world to nonprofits, the GoodKoz Network was created. Our founder envisioned a space where nonprofit leaders could learn, grow, and collaborate—without the high costs or barriers. The result is a platform designed to inspire action, foster connection, and spark meaningful change.
And we could not talk about the GoodKoz Network, and Good Koz Inc., without why we use KOZ as our signature. Our founder lost his beloved Kozmo in 2019 and KOZ, as his friends called him, did good in the world by spreading his love to all… well maybe not squirrels! We love & miss you KOZ!
